Law enforcement officers will be stationed throughout Michigan now through June 3 specifically to crack down on unbelted drivers. Since Michigan has a primary seatbelt law, if you get stopped, you're in for a $65.00 ticket. Michigan law requires any passengers 8-15 years old to be buckled and all drivers and front seat passengers to be buckled.
